Mountain coasters are unique because you ride alone (or with a passenger - max of 2 people) and can largely control your own speed. The things that separate the three mountain coasters in Missouri are the length of the ride and course design. When comparing these things, the Runaway Mountain Coaster is the best of the 3. Unlike the others, this one starts with a chain lift hill (like a normal coaster), and then releases you for a lengthy and curvy ride down the beautiful mountain side. They did a nice job of preserving as much nature as possible too, which minimizes the footprint of the ride through the trees. It costs $18 to ride, and it is well worth it. If you can only choose one mountain coaster to ride in Branson, go with this one.
